Salman Khan, starring in the Dabangg Reloaded tour alongside Katrina Kaif, recently ran into ‘90s co-star Rambha while on tour. It was an exciting reunion for these actors who co-starred in a movie 20 years ago! The two acted in the 90s comedy Judwaa, a cult classic where Salman played two roles – twins separated at birth. He must have felt like the real life version of his character on seeing Rhamba again. She was attending the tour with her husband and daughter, who also met with Salman backstage, and fans of Salman and Rambha were excited to see the two stars reconnect.
Since the tour had dates in Toronto, Rambha couldn’t miss the opportunity to see her former co-star in action, and we think it’s great that she is still so supportive of his work! Her instagram is full of photos of the happy reunion, which she also shared with Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Deva. Rambha also snapped a pic with Jacqueline Fernandez, who acted in the sequel to Judwaa, Judwaa 2. Her Instagram snaps of the reunion have gone viral, with fans posting comments about how much they adored seeing Rhamba standing next to the other bright stars of Dabangg Reloaded. Even though it’s been a while since she was on the big screen, she’s still beautiful and looks content surrounded by friends and family.
While Rhamba is settling into family life, Salman’s love life has been the opposite – he’s dated but never has been married, and his relationship with Katrina Kaif has been the source of much speculation lately since the two actors are working in such close proximity these days. Their stellar dance numbers have been entertaining old fans and creating new ones across the US and Canada, and being on tour can be both stressful and exhilarating – a roller coaster of emotions that is fraught with the potential for romantic feelings to develop. A slip of the tongue at an earlier press event where he called Kaif “baby” by accident caused the internet to blow up with speculation about the status of their friendship. For now, no one can say for certain – but from the looks of it, Rhamba has been blessed with a much more stable love life. She married her husband, CEO of a Toronto cabinet manufacturing company, in 2010, and they now have two daughters. Maybe Salman will be inspired to finally follow in their footsteps and settle down once and for all!
Rambha also acted alongside Salman in 1998’s Bandhan, but that was their last film together. Since then, Rambha has moved into TV as a reality show judge on the show Kings of Comedy – her last film was 2011’s Filmstar. When he’s back home, Salman won’t have much time to rest – he will resume shooting Bharat and will make a cameo appearance in Zero.
