A sad announcement has been made from the famous Bollywood actor, Irrfan Khan. He recently tweeted to his fans that he is suffering from a “rare disease” and has now been confirmed as a neuroendocrine tumor. This rare illness affects the cells that release hormones into the bloodstream.
Khan, 51, has acted in more than 100 films including Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, Jurrasic World, Piku, Maqbool, and many more.
His wife, Sutapa Sikdar said that “My best friend and my partner is a warrior he is fighting every obstacle with grace and beauty”. Khan is India’s most well-known international actor and has been featured in American films and independent Hindi movies. In 2013, he won India’s National Film Award for Paan Singh Tomar.
Bollywood Entertainment and fans worldwide are sending their prayers to our beloved actor.
